Cold calling is something that most of us hate it.  Calling someone you don’t know and then ask them to buy your solution.

However, if you want to

have grow your business, you cannot runaway from Cold Calling.  Most of my sales were closed from Cold Calling.  Not from Adword !

I made a lot of blunders making cold calling.

Sometimes, just called and try to sell the software direct to the prospect.  The prospect would be wondering who is this guy I am talking to too.

So, if you are new in Sales. Then I believe the following tips will help.

First of all, you need to know your product details very well.  Your product knowledge will help you to talk confidently.

If you are new selling that product, before you call, please print a hard copy of your product details, which you could easily refer to if your client ask a question.

Important product knowledge that you should know.
1.Product Features
2.Product Benefit. Why your prospect should buy your service.
3.Customer Supports details.
4.Product Pricing.

Once you have prepared yourself, your first call is actually to jump start you sales process.

How to setup Kontera in your blogger.com

If you’re new in blogging and try to sign up using your Blogger.com website address, then most probably Kontera will reject your application. Just like what happen to me.

I suggest that you write some articles in hubpages first, then use your hubpages porfile address as your sign up url.

Sign in into Kontera and access your account. Click the ContentLink Setup.

Click the Kontera It link, you will directed to Blogger.com.  Sign in into Blogger.com.

Then Click Add Widget.

Now you will be in your Layout tab of your blogger. Your Kontera Script will be add in automatically. Then Click Save your Layout.

Kontera takes some time to check your website. After one day my Kontera adsvertisement is there !

Simple steps to get followers on Twitter

To get followers, you need to follow groups of people that you like.

I started with people that I want to follow such as web designer, seo consultant, hotelier and etc.

What I notice that once you’re following others, they will most probably follow you as well.

Just by using this method I got roughly 1000 peole within 6 weeks.

Since the number is there already, contacts from my followers are following me as well. So now, I just follow back anyone who follows me. One way of saying thanks to my followers.

Plus if you have interesting tweet you will get credits by your follower and they will recommend you in FollowFriday. So the effects start to multiply.

Another method is to use trending topic keywords in some of your post.

For example, if the trending topic is #iranelection.

Use #iranelection in your tweets in a creative way to attract people to read your tweet. And if they like your tweet, they will follow you.

For example, last time I use “Forget about #iranelection, learn how to make money using your twitter”.

Or

“Forget about #iranelection, use kasperksy antivirus to protect your pc from Internet threat”.

You can think off better posts that I stated above. It’s already 3.00 in the morning I am writing this hubpage.

The more visible your are in the Twitter, the more followers you will get. Sometimes you need to have thick skin to get followers on your twitter account.

Not only that you want to build up your followers numbers, but it is also important to tweet interesting post in order to retain your followers.
